Technology Strategy

A technology roadmap should not begin with a list of tools.

It should begin with the company’s goals, the obstacles slowing people down, and the risks leadership cannot afford to ignore.

Only then should the conversation turn to platforms, architecture, staffing, and investment.

When the business strategy changes, the technology roadmap should change with it. Otherwise, IT may deliver every project on time and still solve the wrong problems.
