Express Network
Report directly to the CEO and lead IT and cybersecurity for 180 employees across six offices and a remote workforce, overseeing a five person IT team and an annual IT budget of $1 million to $3 million.
- Rebuilt firewall, VPN, WiFi and NAS infrastructure across six offices and introduced dedicated fiber, improving uptime, connection reliability and storage performance.
- Established the first centralized IT helpdesk using Atera, replacing a shared mailbox with ticketing, endpoint monitoring, patch management and automated maintenance.
- Led SOC 2 Type II audit completion using Vanta, overseeing policies, controls, evidence and auditor coordination.
- Introduced Claude companywide for office tasks and projects, alongside an on premises AI environment with an MCP server used by IT for infrastructure work and coding.

- Integrated more than 2,500 acquired users from Google Workspace into Microsoft 365 and Azure, covering email, calendars, files and identities. Completed one month of planning and staging and a one week migration, with final weekend cutover and no business downtime.
- Saved more than $4,000 monthly, equivalent to over $48,000 annually, through Microsoft licensing consolidation, restructuring and improved vendor pricing.
- Migrated on premises SQL and file servers to Azure, lowering infrastructure costs and improving uptime.
